The most important company in the world

There are many very important companies in the world. For instance, McDonalds, Google, AOL, Walt Disney, the Coca-Cola Company etc. However, I think that one of the most important companies in the world is Gazprom. This company is considered to be the largest extractor of natural gas in the world and the largest company in Russia. Why this company is important? Well, it is not a very easy question, but in my essay I will try to find proper answer to it.
Firstly, natural gas is a major source of electricity generation. Without electricity it is not possible to do anything. If we had no electricity at home it would be impossible to heat our houses, use electrical appliances and many things like that. Electricity is one of the symbols of modern society and it is very hard to imagine our life without it.
Secondly, natural gas burns faster than other fossil fuels. That is why nearly all factories and plants in the world use natural gas as the main fuel. Gas is cleaner alternative to other fossil fuels like oil and coal. Moreover, natural gas is also used to produce fabrics, glass, steel, plastics and so on. Actually, natural gas is very important because all European chemical industry uses it and it is not possible to find better fuel than the natural gas.
Thirdly, I believe that today Gazprom plays a very important role in the international scene. This company is an active partner for the most of European companies like GHW and ZMB Gasspeicher Holding GmbH in Austria; BASF Societas Europaea and ZMB GmbH in Germany; Gazprom Marketing and Trading Limited in the United Kingdom; and BSPS B.V. in the Netherlands.
All things considered this one of the most powerful and influential companies in the world due to all of these factors. Annual income of this company is very high and Gazprom constantly tries to strengthen its influence in the global scene.
