Learning is never too late

At the time of the soviet union, in the minds of men formed clear stereotype of the student. In most cases, the typical student – a young man, recently graduated from high school. Try to drow in your imagination type of a student and who you will see? The young man aproximately twenty years old. But in the most developed countries this situation is straight opposite. With their educational system, people can learn during their life.
In the u.S. College studing men and women are over thirty-five years old. Moreover, statistics show that from 1980 -1988 the number of this age category highly increased among the students. A similar situation can be observed in post-soviet russia. With the transition of market relations, start demand occupations, wich did not exist before the beginning of the nineties. And that’s why in this area can be noted extremely changes. In the early nineties of the twentieth century, due to changes of the structure of the labor market was marked by the proscess of retrating for old cadres. And in the beginning of this century may be noted the stabilization of the situation and see about what happens abroad. For professionals the main thing has been to raise professional skills, be corresponding to modern requirements.
In our submission entrenched stereotype that education ends at the end of the institute in adolescence. Although the average age of people improving their skills are constantly sharperned in the process. Now thanks to modern informational technologies undergoing radical change. This especially applies to people working in the areas of business, wich are developing very dynamically. People of middle age sometimes have to continue their education if they changing their speciality. This is especially true of those who engaged in such spheres of activity, where knoledge is constantly updated. For example, programmers must learn all emerging innovations.
People of middle age can identify a certain complex, thereby preventing a decision to study again. Not everyone of this age of simply accepting in role of the student, especially if the person has moved high on corporate ladder and is on dominant position. And if the person has already considerable experienced and well versed in the defunct field, he probably can itself has something to teach, than dare to have him teach someone. Proceeding from maslow’s pyramid, the people of this age are dominated of their needs of public recognition and self-actualization of another kind. In this case emerges the contradiction. A person who must obtain a new experience, new knowledge, but at the same time he thinks he’s plenty experienced specialist. Way out of this situation, can serve as a communication in the specialised professional assosiations. Here will be address the main problem – replanished knowledge – participation in a social group - self-actualization. The establishment of such independent assosiations is very useful for our developing society. They ussually appear on the initiative of thir members, and have an informal character. Integration of such professional associations attracts the interests of psychology. Set a friendly atmoshere and plenty of information – are the main advantages of such communication. This is impossible to get such a performance under different conditions. That is an alternative aspproach to learning people of different ages.
